"Grounded" Better

Grounded is a family owned and operated coffee shop, providing down town Tunkhannock with specialty coffee, teas and other unique beverages! This boho-country themed outlet offers a laid back ambiance while we prepare your fresh brewed favorites to perfection. Take a seat, or enjoy on the go! Our menu is always expanding, as well as our gift options you'll find around the shop. Here, you'll find home-made macramé, décor, accessories and locally roasted bagged coffee. Partnering with Electric City Roasters Co. & Bason Coffee Roasting, our coffee is locally roasted and then prepared right here in Tunkhannock, PA. Stop in, take a peak, have a sip and spread the word.

A letter from the owner:

To my friends and family,

I just want to thank you for all the love and support that you have graciously shown me in all my business adventures. It saddens me to say that the dream of opening a restaurant is no longer happening at this time but, with the closing of one door another has opened. I cannot tell you how excited I am to be walking through this next door! I believe God always has a plan! Believe me when I say I have prayed a lot! And an opportunity of a lifetime presented itself! and... Things are moving fast!

Ok... so.. Across from the Dietrich Theatre is this well known small commercial space for lease formally known as the "Downtown Deli". I have passed it a hundred times and wondered what our town needed to have in there. After some thought and discussion with family, I have decided to open a coffee lounge called "Grounded Coffee, Tea & Tranquility". As those of you who are close to me already know, I have been alcohol free since February 2020. I have longed for a place in town where I can hang out, drink some coffee, maybe a specialty non-alcoholic beverage, and most importantly socialize. So that's what I'm bringing to the community. I am excited to embark on this journey and share with you all the joy of accomplishing this goal!
